When you register an account you will receive an email with a verficiation link. If you fail to verify it then you can do so at any time by taking the following action:
1. Log in to Habbo and click on the Account Settings tab on the homepage.
2. Click on Motto & Preferences
3. If your email is NOT verified you will see a notice in red with a link to generate a new verification email.
Remember to check your junk mail folders!!
It is important to activate your email address so that you receive any emails from Habbo. If you have selected that you would like updates/newsletters from Habbo you will not receive them unless you have activated your email address. It is also important if you want to contact Habbo for any queries you may have.
When using the Habbo Help tool you will not be able to get through using your Habbo account unless you have activated your email address. This is the same if you want to reset your password too.
There are various reasons why you may not receive a reply from Habbos Player Support team. We've listed some of the reasons below:
*
Player Support is closed: If you email us at the weekend, during the night or on bank holidays etc, it will take longer for you to get a response as Player Support only work during standard office hours. Be patient - we will reply as soon as possible.
*
Player Support is busy: We aim to reply to all mails within 48 hours during the week, but sometimes this will take longer. During school holidays, Habbo gets very busy and the number of people looking for help also goes up. Again, be patient - we will reply as soon as possible.
*
Your email provider is blocking us: We try to answer all the emails we receive, but problems with your email provider may mean your reply is not getting through. See our
Email Problems FAQ.
*
Your answer is in the FAQ: If your question is already covered in this FAQ section, then Player Support will not reply to the issue in order to dedicate their time to assisting Habbos with more complex issues.
*
You've put it into the wrong section: The Help Tool is set up to help you put the right questions in the right place. However, if you put a question about your banned account into the option for people having issues with credits, then you're mail isn't going to get the right answer - or maybe no answer at all!
*
Your email is rude or makes no sense: Everyday we get many rude emails from Habbos, and emails that are too vague. If you are rude, or don't give us any information, we won't reply. Be polite, and be precise!
Some email services, such as Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live/AOL, often mistakenly identify email from Habbo as spam. Sometimes they will place the email directly into your junk/spam folder and other times they will not deliver the message at all. If you have used the Habbo Help Tool and not received a response this may be why.
We suggest that you use an alternative email provider such as Gmail, Yahoo! or your ISP email on your Habbo accounts. By doing this you should receive emails from Habbo.
